In some rare situations, a Milo Point can become disconnected from the Milo set (2 or 3-pack) and will display a blinking orange light. This disconnect can occur when a Milo Point is not connected and the default network name (SSID) of the Milo Wifi System is changed in the Milo App.
Don't fret! This is a fairly easy situation to fix if you just follow these steps:
- Move your Milo Point(s) near the Base and plug them all in.
- Once they are plugged in and the lights have stopped blinking on the units that DO NOT have the orange blinking light, you are ready to factory reset the Milo system. Note: Please allow a minute for the system to power up after moving the Points closer to the Milo Base.
- Press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the Base for 15 seconds. The green light on the Base will then start blinking at a fast rate.
- About a minute after resetting the base, you can proceed with resetting the Point(s). Press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds on the Point(s).
Your Milo system is now factory reset. Please uninstall the mobile App on your device and then reinstall it in order to remove the previous configuration from the system.
You are now good to go with setting up your Milo! Just be sure to connect any Milo Points before changing the Milo's default network name (SSID) to avoid these pesky blinking orange lights.
Note: On some Android devices you may need to clear the cache. Click here for details.
