There are a few different ways to determine whether your device is connected to your Milo base, to point one, or to point two. It may be necessary for troubleshooting purposes to determine which unit you are connected to, or a Milo service representative may ask for this information when assisting you. There are different ways to find this information depending on which device you're using.
iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc.):
- Go to Settings > WiFi > tap on the "information" icon next to the network you are connected to.
- Look for the line called "Search Domains," which should indicate which unit you are connected to.
Alternatively, you can look for the I.P. address on the same page and determine which unit you're connected to by following this simple guide:
192.168.51.xx - Base
192.168.50.xx - Point 1
192.168.49.xx - Point 2
We recommend using Speedtest.net to gather speed results and identify which unit you are connected to.
Android device:
Choose Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap the active network connection (the network you’re connected to).
This will bring up a summary of Speed, Security, I.P. address, and Gateway (Manage Router).
Windows:
- Click on your Windows "Start" button and type "Command" into the search feature.
- When the command prompt appears, type "IPCONFIG" into the prompt and check for the IP address. You
can check the results for the relevant information.
