When you're setting up your Milo with the Milo app, the cloud is enabled. We strongly recommend that you do this.
Here's why: the cloud is part of what lets Milo revolutionize your wifi experience, by allowing Milo to continuously monitor itself and self-optimize as necessary.
Milo uses the cloud to receive instant updates and technical fixes. As updates roll in, they are automatically pushed to your Milo system via the cloud. Enabling the cloud means that your Milos are continuously automatically updated with the latest, most secure versions of our software, to keep your wifi moving swiftly. This takes the hassle out of ensuring your wifi system is up to date—we do the work for you!
If you run into an issue with your Milo, our team can instantly pinpoint the problem via the cloud, and provide the solution the same way. What's more, these solutions are pushed through the cloud directly to your Milo device—so the fix is applied directly, in-unit, unlike many other similar wifi systems whose updates remain in the cloud.
