If you're having trouble getting Milo's green light to turn on, changing where you've placed each Milo unit can help you find the best possible connection.
Changing your layout arrangement
The best arrangement will depend entirely on your unique home layout. However, a general rule to remember is that Milo Wifi works best when each Milo unit is placed out in the open, such as on a side table or counter.
Consider whether or not there is any other way you could arrange your Milos.
Depending on your space's specific needs, you may need to create a "chain" by placing one Milo in between the base and another Milo. This makes it possible for the connection to reach the furthest Milo. Keep in mind that we recommend aiming for a maximum distance of 40 feet between Milo units.
Tip: If you have two amber lights on a Milo, it is too far away and you need to move it. Just a few feet can make a huge difference allowing you to get two green lights on the Milo.
