Milo is flexible—you've got options. Depending on your original Wifi set-up and how you want to configure it, Milo can be set up several different ways.
We would like to make it clear that if you love your existing router, or if you spent $300 on it, (or even just for nostalgia's sake), KEEP IT! We can keep this our little secret, but the fact is that connecting your base to your existing router actually turns that router into sort of a "fourth Milo"—buy three, get one free! This just means that your router then becomes one more point, where signals can be bounced. So if you'd like to retain your existing Wifi equipment and configuration, you can simply plug Milo in using the existing LAN/Ethernet ports that might already be connected to some of your devices.
If you're ready to ditch the router, you can go ahead and plug Milo straight into your cable modem. Bada boom, bada bing.
